Courses and Forums
Being a Member means taking advantage of our exemplary courses. Some are designed for new business owners and others for veterans who need to continue to fine tune, but all are anything but dry and boring. We believe in making learning fun and interactive. If you don’t get what we’re talking about, we’ll make it clearer. There are no stupid questions, and we mean it.
All courses and forums are private and Members only. The only exception is the Peer to Peer program which is available to non-members for $25.00 per evening.
Foundation Course
Ideal for:
- People who are great at what they do (experts), but who have not put a business model in place.
- New business owners (year one through three)
- Launchers: Those who are moving toward launching a business, leaving a job and finding their entrepreneurial way.
Foundation Course is a four-week intensive business workshop focused on matching talent and skills with revenue streams. This course takes a real picture of where you are and creates tactics for where you want to be. A terrific referral system, it’s also a way to connect with other women in an atmosphere where everyone examines their own systems, goals and models with fresh eyes. This course is a business game-changer and allows founders, presidents and sole practitioners to see where they’re going and why. Ten women only. Four weeks, one evening a week. Offered three times a year.
Map & Models
Ideal for:
- Foundation Course graduates.
- Business in year two onward.
Many business owners have strong creative instincts but less developed operational and financial chops. This course was designed for creatives! A one night intensive plus one-on-one consulting gives business owners the confidence and knowledge to talk numbers, spreadsheets, budgets and forecasts. Get your model working for your future with tools to increase your cash flow and value. Offered bi-annually.
Peer to Peer Micro-workshops
Throughout the year, Members take free advantage of micro workshops offer through our Peer to Peer Program. P2P leaders are experts, culled from our community on an application basis, who share their expertise on everything from Blogging for Business, legal basics to mobile marketing. Business owners need to keep their finger on the pulse of market developments and continually educate themselves, and our P2P Program allows for quick, efficient tutorials. P2P’s give you a working vocabulary on hundreds of topics. Offered monthly.
BrainCircles
Got a business hiccup? Need answers…fast? Join a BrainCircle, a one-night (or daytime) mastermind session with just six business owners and a small business expert. Bring a specific problem, something you need feedback on, a general question about how to position yourself, tackle a partnership issue, grow an e-commerce business, do affiliates, joint ventures, develop a new website – bring anything – we’ll find the answer.
